Privacy policy

This page explains what Upper Mountains Plumbing and Gas collects when you use this website, why, and what happens to it. Last updated 4 September 2026.

What we collect

If you fill in a quote form we collect the name, phone number, email address, suburb and job description you type into it. That is the only personal information this site asks for. We do not ask for payment details on this website, and there is nothing to log in to.

Why, and what we do with it

We use it to call you back and quote the work, and afterwards to keep a record of the job. Form submissions are stored on our own server and emailed to us. We do not sell or trade your details, and we do not pass them to lead-generation services.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. These record things like the pages you view, roughly where in the country you are, and what kind of device you are on. Google may set cookies as part of this; Cloudflare's does not. Neither is used to identify you personally, and neither is joined up with your quote-form details. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site.

Who else can see it

This website is served through Cloudflare, and our email runs through Google. Both necessarily handle data in transit. Beyond those, the only people who see your enquiry are the people doing your job.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept while they may still be needed — for warranty, compliance certificates and tax records, which in Australia generally means at least five years. Enquiries that never became a job are removed once they are clearly not going anywhere.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email [email protected] or call 0498 184 488. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
